LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Caption Anna Paquin attends the season 5 premiere of HBOs True Blood at ArcLight Cinemas Cinerama Dome on May 30, 2012 Anna Paquin and husband/ True Blood co-star Stephen Moyer are expecting their first child together, and while the news is joyous for the pair, a baby doesnt quite fit in with Sookie Stackhouses (played by Anna) storyline.

Consequently, True Blood creator Alan Ball says the show will work around Annas baby bump, using age-old on screen camera tricks.

So, in the last few episodes, Sookies holding a big purse in front of her at all times, Alan told Access Hollywood with a laugh, at the True Blood Season 5 premiere in Los Angeles on Wednesday. I actually heard from the costume designer about midway through the season, she went, Sookie cant wear a Merlottes T-shirt anymore. And I went, Well, its a good thing Sookie isnt really at Merlottes anymore, shes basically trying to save the world.

So, well put her in loose-fitting, save the world outfits, he added.

Anna, who was also on hand for the premiere at the Cinerama Dome, said shes feeling healthy and energetic as a new mom-to-be.

Im great, thank you, she told Access.

The 29-year-old actress also agreed a baby isnt in the cards for Sookie right now, saying, At this point, [Sookie] doesnt have a boyfriend on the show.

True Blood Season 5 premieres on Sunday, June 10 at 9 PM on HBO.
