Anna Paquin thinks she will be a 'nesty' mother.

The 'True Blood' actress - who is expecting twins with her co-star and husband Stephen Moyer - admits she has two sides to her personality and although she will be a maternal parent, she may also get urges to run away with her family.

She said: 'I have a side that's very nesty. And another that thinks, 'Let's lock up the house and go away for five months.' '

Anna claims she is often very hard of herself but in recent years has calmed and learnt to cut herself 'some slack'.

She told Redbook magazine: 'I'm my harshest critic. But at a certain point, you need to embrace who you are and the whole package that comes along with it. For me, it was cutting myself some slack and not trying to be something that I think is perfect or ideal.'

Anna's 'True Blood' co-star Sam Trammell -himself the father of twins - recently revealed he was giving the pair advice about expecting multiples, urging them to 'hold on tight'.

He said: 'It's harder, having twins, but it's all we know. So we're trying to impart some decent wisdom. I told them to hold on tight!'
