1st look at Rutger Hauer as Macklyn in leaked True Blood set pics

Wed heard months ago that Rutger Hauer would be joining HBOs True Blood, and now we finally have our first look at the veteran actor in character on the set of the fang-banging hit.

Hauer, best known for his role in Blade Runner and about a million other films, will be playing the mysterious character Macklyn in the upcoming sixth season.

Not much is known about Hauers role, aside from the fact he reportedly has a close connection to both Sookie (Anna Paquin) and Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten). Aside from that, we dont really know what Macklyn will be doing.

As for his new look? The character is looking pretty wacky, and were curious to see how this plays out once he's officially introduced.

The new season begins in June. WIll you be watching?
