A well-made and absorbing documentary that tells the story of the 15th-century farm girl who thought she had a divine mission to liberate France from the English and who became a military heroine before being burned to death for heresy. Anna Paquin provides the voice of Joan but it's hard not to think of Yvette from 'Allo 'Allo.
